ROSS ROURKE « In Memoriam »

It is with great sadness and regret that we inform our clients and friends of the death of our dear colleague, Mr. Ross Rourke, who passed during a routine medical procedure on June 5, 2014.

We offer our deepest sympathies to his family and to his friends.

BIOGRAPHY
Called to the Bar in 1973, Ross J. Rourke joined the firm in 1998 after having practised with other firms in the Quebec City area.

AREAS OF PRACTICE
Me Rourke practiced business and commercial law, mainly in real estate, construction and corporate law. Being essentially a business person, Ross J. Rourke contributed his wide ranging experience by proposing to his clientele pragmatic and efficient solutions.

In addition, Me Rourke contributed passionately to his community and chosed to reserve a substantial portion of his time to the service of social, community, religious and educational institutions.

Bilingual, Me Rourke served his clients in French and in English.

ACTIVITIES
Ross J. Rourke served the Quebec area English speaking community like few others. Through the years, he served as board member of the Jeffery Hale Hospital, Voice of English-Speaking Quebec, the Eastern Quebec Regional School Board, the Greater Quebec School Board and the Central Quebec Regional School Board.

He was also a real estate and construction business owner and manager. Through the years he also held significant interests in the moving and warehousing industry and in a local newspaper.
